Eyelash extensions require some considerations and have care instructions that will be reviewed by our staff.

Our patron's often ask; "Is there a special care routine for my lashes? "

• Yes and instructions will be discussed and may vary depending on the type of lash you prefer. Some general instructions include; use a gentle foam cleanser (recommended Sally's Gentle Wash Morning Glow), don't touch or pull your lashes, avoid oils and bacteria growth and use a eyelash brush after shower use.

• It is also suggested to use a Lash Growth Serum for your natural lashes.

"How often do I need a fill?"

• Fills can be every 2 to four weeks and will depend on the individual. Some people start off with Mālama Classic Lashes and increase the thickness of lashes with a fill. A fill can include individual lashes or a lash groupings (5 to 7 lashes).

"Are hybrid lashes stronger then natural lashes? "

• Hybrid Lashes are not stronger then natural lashes. Eyelash extensions enhance the beauty of your lashes. Lash extensions are adhered to the actual lash and a Lash Growth Serum is advised for all lash extensions.

"Are these lashes ok to swim with?" "

• Yes, although with caution. Friction is not a friend of lashes. It is advised while swimming to avoid water pressure burst and after you swim to gently use clean tap water to rinse your lashes with the use of an eyelash brush if necessary. Salt water is not recommended and can break down the adhesive.

These eyelash extensions are where two or more individual extensions are attached to each natural lash. They are first formed into fans, which is where the desired number of lashes are faned out and as a "bouquet", applied on to one natural lash with adhesive.

These mega volume lashes is a new and more advanced type of volume lash. This style uses very light and thin extensions to create a fuller look. Each mega volume fan uses 6 to 16 false lashes. Hau-Oli Mega Lashes typically last 2-hyphen three weeks before needing a fill.
